I am originally from Brazil where I graduated from Dental School in 1999. After working in Brazil for almost 4 years I decided to move to New Zealand in pursuit of a lifestyle change and further studying.
In 2009, I joined North Shore Dental and I can truly say I love everything about my job! Creating beautiful smiles is a form of art, but more fun, and I get to meet some pretty awesome people while I do it! My main focus and special interests are Orthodontics (braces) for both kids and adults (yes! Adults can have braces too!) and Cosmetic Dentistry, which includes complex fillings, Veneers, Crowns and Bridges. I am also passionate about Dysport, a muscle relaxant like Botox, used in the treatment of wrinkles as well as for the treatment of patients that grind and clench their teeth. It is one my favourites products to use and I’ve been doing this for many years with amazing results. Here at North Shore Dental, we believe in continuing education to make sure we provide the best dental treatment with the latest technology for our patients. I am an active member of the NZDA and ADA. I am also a former executive of the board of the New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In my spare time, I love running or doing any form of exercise. I also love art and design, but my main passion is burning something in the kitchen for my husband Nick and our noisy delicious children Jack and Louis. |
